Make Plans For A Babysitter Now Because SeaWorld Is Going Adult Only For Halloween
SeaWorld San Diego is staying open after dark this fall, but the catch is it is for adults only. Halloween is not for kids in cute costumes. It is for adults who are longing to get out with friends. SeaWorld is making this an event a separate ticket event filled with roaming zombies, a demented clown and a twisted doctor.
The fall attraction called “Howl-O-Scream” will feature live shows, roller coaster rides in the dark, specialty cocktails and haunted houses. The extravaganza is geared to older Halloween goers. The park is still going to hold its usually Spooktacular event, which is for kids. Spooktacular is a day event that is included in the regular admission price.

San Diego Park President John Dunlap states the scary event is going to be a separately ticketed event. The park has not had a separate Halloween event for adults. He continues to say that the hope is it will help to bring people together. It will also provide jobs through October.
The announcement for the fall event comes when SeaWorld is struggling to come back after the pandemic closed the park. The hope is that Howl-O-Scream will keep parkgoers coming long after the summer season has come to an end. The after-dark event is being marketed to horror fans and thrill-seekers. Parents are strongly encouraged to leave the small children with a babysitter. If you think this event is going to be too scary for younger children, you are right.
Howl-O- Scream is a longtime running event at SeaWorld San Antonio for the last 20 years. However, it will be a new event for San Diego and Orlando parks. Tickets are already available. The event will run Sunday through Thursday, starting in mid-September through Halloween.
